Cultural transition is funny. I wouldn’t say I’ve hit culture shock, but I feel the effects of the stress of it all. I wear out sooner in the day and I have to constantly remind myself that it’s “ok” to slow down. Even though everything is different, it’s also familiar, and I find that I’m glad that everything is different in a Cambodian way.
