A New Home

We’ve moved!

This month Sdam and I officially moved to Colorado Springs. I am settling into a new routine of in-person office work and enjoying being with the team.

In January, I officially transferred to the EMI Global office and traveled to the Springs to meet with my supervisor and set direction for the coming year. During those meetings he offered me a manager position within the Global marketing team as Creative Manager and I accepted. In my new position I will continue my work as a graphic designer supporting the funds development efforts of EMI worldwide while also managing a small team of fellow creative staff and also taking a bigger roll in the editing and publishing of EMI content.

The first big project of the year was helping to coordinate our tri-annual digital publication “Inside EMI.”

The Creative Team of EMI Global

Now that I am in the office full time, I am busy connecting with the creative team and stepping more fully into the new manager role. I’ve especially enjoyed being professional mentor to our graphic design intern. (Next to me.) It’s so encouraging to work with the next generation.

At the end of the month Sdam and I traveled back to Nebraska to see my youngest cousin get married. It was a sweet time to catch up with aunts, uncles, and cousins. Sdam is still praying and looking for the right job opportunities in Colorado.
