This past weekend, a few friends and I got to get away from the city for a bit. Trains in Cambodia were suspended due to neglect and damage from the civil war, and have only started to run again last year. You can tell it is a novel thing to ride the train for Khmer…

I’ve known Vicky for a little more than three years now. First, as she ushered me into the EMI internship program. Then as we shared and office and traveled to S.E. Asia with EMI. Last but not least, now we are roommates. But always friends. Same same, but different, as they say here in Cambodia.…
