Nigeria Project Trip

Originally established in 1962 as a prayer group first named Calvary Fellowship, Church of God Mission International Incorporated was divinely born by the urge of the Holy Spirit with specific instructions of the Lord to Archbishop B.A. Idahosa as stated: “Raise up an army for me, to go with the gospel to all Nations. Gather together those whom I have called and I will send them with the fire of my spirit. Give my word and your example to many who will go to teach, preach and heal.” The ministry has grown in the 50+ years developing infrastructures to strengthen her ability to fulfill her mandate, including founding of the All Nations for Christ Bible Institute, Benson Idahosa University and also Faith Mediplex Hospital.
Established in 1988, Faith Mediplex Hospital has grown into a multi-specialty teaching hospital complex with extension hospitals around Nigeria. The most recent addition, the Big Ben Children’s Hospital Annex designed by eMi in 2006, provides state of the art labor and delivery facilities, obstetrical theatre, neonatal ICU, and birthing suites. Through the vision of “Merging the Hand of Prayer & Medicine to Heal the Whole Person,” the hospital strives toward its mission “To provide a Center of Excellence in medical care, research, and education as a service to the community, using these avenues to raise the health status of the needy and to share the gospel of Jesus Christ and His power to heal spirit, mind and body.”

The scope for our project will be include the assessment of existing facilities with the design of a new multi-story Ancillary Services Building, surveying existing property and recently acquired land, and updated master planning. image001
